St Pancras Station

The multi-million pound regeneration of St Pancras Station, with its world-famous barrel roof, involved lining 88 vertical gutters that swooped 22 metres down both sides of the Barlow Shed. Sharmans overcame this problem by designing and moulding bespoke ridge crowns that would sit on top of the roof. Onto each side of these crowns were factory-welded custom made Gutterline sections which enabled the contractors to locate the ridge crowns in position and then simply allow the liners to simultaneously roll out down the gutters on each side of the roof.

This innovative concept worked so well that the job was completed ahead of schedule.

Pioneer GB

In the worst of the winter weather, Mark Whyler of BWB Roofing took a call from Pioneer GB to say the fibre gutters on their 10,000 sq metre roof were leaking. As precision electronics and water don't exactly mix, you can imagine this job was classed as urgent.

Mark measured up the eleven 98 metre long gutters (all of which included a number of syphonic outlets) and H D Sharman custom made the liners and syphonic outlets. Despite the weather, the BWB Roofing team fitted all eleven gutters, over 1000 metres of Gutterline, in just nine working days.
